I first became an adorer about 18 years ago. I’ve been to weekend conferences before that.
As I visit the chapel I felt this great peace and calmness. There is this force that draws me here more often. I think it was Fr. Jelinek’s homily one day that urged me to fill out the new adorer card. The Holy Spirit comes to us in ordinary events of our lives. My life has never been the same since then. Coming to adoration has changed my perspective in life and how I face the adversity that comes along my path. It helps me see the purpose of my being here.
My prayer is that God will touch the hearts of many more people and guide them to Himself. He thirsts for more souls and our souls thirst for Him. He calls us first; all we need to do is respond, “Yes” to Him.
Coming to adoration benefits the adorer. The adorer is the recipient of graces which He gracefully and freely gives to all who believe. Let Him come into your heart and fill the longing of your soul. We are created to adore, worship and be with Him (the Creator) for eternity.
I am truly blessed to be able to visit Marytown anytime. It’s treasure in our midst. Let’s spread the word and respond yes to His call.

The best time you spend on earth is with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! During this time, He consoles us and helps us grow in holiness. All are invited to answer His call and commit to one holy hour with Jesus every week, adoring Him and resting in His presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
Upon entering Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament adoration chapel, the eye is naturally drawn to the monstrance where the Eucharistic Jesus is enthroned. The monstrance is five feet, two inches tall and has been entirely fashioned from sacrificial gifts of jewelry.
Symbols of the four Evangelists grace the base, signifying that Eucharistic doctrine is based in Sacred Scripture. The stem of the monstrance is formed by a figure of Mary Immaculate crushing the head of a serpentine Satan. The removable lunela holds Jesus truly present in the consecrated host. Encircling it are eight medallions portraying “types,” or symbols of the Blessed Sacrament.
A podium of marble with angels in high relief and grateful expression supports the monstrance.
