St. Francis of Assisi can be one of the most misquoted and misunderstood Saints of the past 2000 years. We know St. Francis, not from Hollywood films or popular culture, but from his writings and early biographers. Fr. Benedict will show us the importance of the Eucharist and the Priesthood in the life and spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi in two presentations, opening to us the treasures contained in the Christ-centered heart of the “Poverello of Assisi”.
