March with NorthWest Families for Life in the Palatine Hometown Parade July 1, 10:30 AM Meet at spot #42 on Wood St. just east of Quentin in Palatine Parade kicks off at 11:00 AM.
Why walk in a parade? 1. With the recent first anniversary of the end of Roe, the community needs to see that to be pro-life means to be pro-woman and pro-love!
2. Many people will see us and realize that they are not alone in their own pro-life beliefs. You will inspire others to be emboldened in action for life.
3. It provides a spirit of unity! We always get so much positive feedback from the crowd.
Here’s how to be part of the fun: • On Saturday, July 1, meet at 10:30 am (parade starts at 11:00 am) at spot #42 (out of 62) lined up on Wood St. just east of Quentin.
• You can park in the Commuter Parking Deck at Colfax and Smith St. Then cross the tracks and head west on Wood St. to our line-up area. It may be best to be dropped off at Quentin and Wood.
• Look for yellow LIFE balloons.
• A limited number of T-shirts proclaiming “United We Stand for Life” will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Get one before they’re gone! The shirts are light blue so feel free to wear another pro-life or patriotic t-shirt in that color.
• We will have life-affirming signs to hold and life-saver candy to throw. Get it? Life savers :)
• Please bring sunscreen and water! Strollers welcome!
